Ron has been asked to be a Featured Speaker at
the National Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundations annual meeting in Great Falls Montana, August 13, 2008. His presentation
entitled "Lewis and Clark Through the Eyes of the Artist", will feature not only Ron's historical sketches and
paintings, but those of contemporary and past artists including Charles Fritz, Michael Haynes, John Clymer, Karl Bodmer, George
Catlin, and C.M. Russell. For more information, or if you wish to attend contact the NLCTHF at their website link below.

In order to accurately portray any subject matter,
solid reference is required. All of the models that I use for my historical Lewis and Clark paintings are from the Lewis and
Clark Honor Guard of Living Historians for Montana, located in Great Falls. They are currently regarded as the best and most
accurate living history group for the Lewis and Clark era in the country. For more information regarding their character portrayals,
upcoming events, newsletters, and the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Great Falls, use the link below for easy access
to their web site.

There are several other terrific and historically correct
reenactor groups for the Lewis and Clark era across the country. As these sites become available, I will be adding links to
them as well. Here are several others:
Discovery Expedition of St. Charles Missouri
Hog Heaven Muzzleloaders, Idaho
South Dakota Chapter
